About Us

The Newcomers' Club of Lake Bluff & Lake Forest was founded in the 1950's to promote friendship among new residents and to help them become active members of the community.  The Newcomers' Club has over 200 members and a wide variety of ongoing activities.

Getting settled in a new place can be a daunting task, and we hope that the Newcomers' Club can help you feel right at home and part of our wonderful community.

Whether you're looking for a playgroup for your children, finding a golf or tennis partner, joining a book discussion group, touring historic homes in the area, attending the latest play downtown, making new friends or have an interest you'd like to share with others, you've come to the right place. Check out a full list of our current activities here.

Again, we welcome you to the community.  We hope your life here will be filled with happiness and friendship.
